List the services you can offer and the ones you're looking for. We match you with neighbours whose skills fit yours, check that the swap is fair, and walk you both through safety checks before anyone meets. No money changes hands, and it's free.
Every swap is drawn as a slip like this: what you give on the left, what you get on the right. The stamp in the middle tells you at a glance whether it's a fair trade.
Most people find a match after listing two or three things.
Say what you can do (guitar lessons, mowing, fixing a laptop) and what you need. Put a rough dollar value on an hour or a job of your work. It's only used to check a swap is even.
We find neighbours whose offers fit your wants and whose wants fit your offers. When nobody has a direct swap for you, we look for a three-way circle.
You agree the trade, then both go through the safety checklist: verified phone, an agreed meet plan, a buddy, and a check-in on the day. Your signed agreement goes into your own vault.
Meeting someone new should feel ordinary, not risky. Every in-person swap has a checklist both of you work through, and the trade can't be scheduled until it's done.
Work inside someone's home asks for more: a first hello in a public place and a buddy. Childcare, elder companionship and overnight pet sitting need an ID check for everyone, with no exceptions.

First hello in a public place
For work in someone's home, you meet briefly at a library or café first.
A trusted buddy knows where you are
A friend gets a private link with where and when. No account needed.
Check in when you arrive, check out when you leave
If you don't check out, we remind you, then tell your buddy.
You walk Hannah's dog. Hannah cleans for Luis. Luis takes your family photos. Nobody has to find a perfect match. Three neighbours, one fair trade.
